Melty Time is a timed matching game that utilizes whole desserts in place of traditional tiles. The player identifies and selects matching pairs of treats arranged in rows or columns containing three or more items to eliminate the desserts from the playfield. They must exercise caution to avoid a situation where they exhaust their available moves.
The game displays the items set against a backdrop of melted chocolate. The selection of desserts comprises cakes, cupcakes, donuts, fruit tarts, gelatin molds, and macaroons.
The player begins by selecting and removing desserts that are arranged side by side and stacked vertically. Upon selection, the item changes to a white color and undergoes a pulsating expansion. Upon selecting the corresponding treat, both items vanish in a display of golden star sparkles.
Evaluate the desserts. Initially, eliminate the adjacent matching treats to generate gaps within the playfield. Pair the leftover desserts using three lines or fewer. Utilize the Time Stop and Eat boosters or the automatically suggested shuffle option if needed. Upon removing all sweet treats from the playfield, restart the game to surpass the previous best time.
