You play the role of a blacksmith in the game Jacksmith, in which you create a variety of weapons for all of your fighters. The creation of weaponry requires complete manual labor. You must first select your ore and then your mold before you can melt it, pour it, create it, and design it. It doesn't matter if you're making swords, bows, arrows, axes, or any other kind of weapon; you'll need skills and strategy to create the ideal one. After you have finished building, it is time to head into battle with your group of warriors. You continue to make headway toward the Great Wizard Dudley as you scavenge for loot and man the cannons while they are engaged in combat.
