Frogger

The objective of the game Frogger is to move the frog that represents your character from the bottom of the screen to the top of the screen.
The game may begin with three, five, or seven frogs (also known as life), depending on the parameters that were chosen by the operator. The player is responsible for transferring a frog that is located at the bottom of the screen to one of the five homes that are located at the top of the screen. The bottom half of the screen is taken up by a road on which a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, lorries, buses, dune buggies, bulldozers, vans, taxis, bicycles, and/or motorcycles, are racing at high speeds in a variety of directions. The top half of the screen is taken up by a river that features logs, alligators, and turtles that are all swimming horizontally across the water. The "frog homes" are located at the very top of the screen in a row of five. Each frog will make its way to one of these locations. Because there is a time limit on each level, the player must move swiftly in order to complete the level before the time runs out.

The player can only move the frog around with the four-way controller; there are no other options. One hop is taken in the direction that is being pushed each time you push the frog. In the bottom part of the screen, the player is tasked with preventing the frog from becoming roadkill by moving it between two opposing lanes of cars, trucks, and other types of vehicles.

The player will need to prepare themselves to cross the river when they reach the main portion of the screen that is located after the road.

Jumping on swiftly moving logs as well as the backs of turtles and alligators, with the exception of the alligator fangs, is a method that the player can use to get their frog to one of the empty lily pads in a secure manner. The player must keep their distance from alligators, snakes, and otters while they navigate the river in this game. There are five "frog homes" in all. The player has the option of either catching insects or assisting a lady frog in order to earn bonus points. The game advances to the subsequent level, which is more difficult, once all five of the frogs have found their way back home. The game gets easier for a brief time after the first five levels, but then it gets tougher again until the next fifth level, at which point it gets easier again.
